Covid has taken a toll of much of our population and has kept us from doing things we love with people we love.
This spring 2023 we want to help you make memories doing the one thing we love more than anything, MAKING MUSIC!!!!
Sydenham-Heritage United Church is organizing a Music Celebration Series this spring and the only thing missing is you!
• Do you sing?
• Do you play an instrument?
• Do you belong to a group that sings?
• Do you belong to group that plays instruments together?
• Do you teach a music class?
• Are you part of a music class?
Say yes, to any of these questions and we are definitely looking for you.
Four dates, four musical themes/genres, one venue…. You provide the entertainment. All dates listed are afternoon concerts (2:00 pm) and we will have rehearsal times scheduled which will be announced once the programs are confirmed. Vocalists will have the choice of performing to your own recorded accompaniment or singing live with our ‘in-house’ piano accompanist (Music Director Trevor Dalton) or live with our ‘in-house band’ The SHUC Band.
April 15 – Country Music
April 22 – Love Songs
April 29th – 50’s/60’s sock hop
May 6 – 70’s/80’s Chart Toppers
