Trevor Dalton was born in Peterborough, ON and began playing the piano at the age of 8. In his teen years, he performed many times in the United Church and began his first music director position at the age of 18 at Bridgenorth United Church in Bridgenorth, ON.
Trevor studied music therapy at Wilfrid Laurier University and currently works in the palliative care and forensic psychology settings, in addition to his position as music director at Sydenham-Heritage. In his free time, Trevor enjoys playing golf and figure skating.
Trevor has an emotional approach to music in the church, focusing on music that is relatable and moves us. The strong passion for music at Sydenham-Heritage can also be heard through the voices of our phenomenal choir.
